![]() ![]() This new feature allowed players to shuffle the blocks while in the zoomout view, and then zoom in for a closer look at individual blocks to solve the puzzle. For example, one character might need to activate a switch to open a door, while the other must quickly move through the newly-opened path before it closes again.Īfter considering all the features we wanted to include, we decided to add a zooming function to the puzzle game. The players were now able to switch between their two characters at any time which added more of a challenge and difficulty to these puzzles as they had to rely on both characters to help each other navigate through the levels. To make things even more interesting, we decided to add the feature of character switching. We got a lot of feedback and some fun ideas to try out. We divided the levels into 3 blocks and placed platforms and other elements for a prototype designĬreating some levels initially, we playtested them to see if it was what we were looking for. Here’s a look at how we started with making the puzzles. Each block has a unique design and function, ranging from basic platforms to complex puzzles that can be activated with the right combination of movements. Hence, we started off with dividing the game world into blocks, which can be shuffled and matched to create new paths and obstacles. The idea was to navigate through a world of interconnected blocks that could be shuffled around to reach different parts of the environment. We were looking for a game which will challenge players. Using these methods I popped the achievement at the mid 1700.Coming up with the puzzles for Lost twins 2 was exciting, as well as challenging. Picking it up can clear the dots away ( keeping your score down ) and give you some easy flips after a small jump sequence. This is because after every twin mode there is always flip as the game is geared for you to join them up. I would recommend against picking up the twin ball if possible BUT and a massive BUT pick it up if u haven't come across alot of point dots and just let one side die. The lower the points the easier the level is so avoid the point balls if possible. I used this method to get an extra 2-3 flips on my achievement run.ģ. This is the tricker one and can cause death so I would recommend only trying this at the very start as it gets very hard to do later in the game. This is done by small jumping as your ball goes over the edge towards the flip. On medium holes ( usually within your first 1-5 holes on the ground, personally it was always 1-3 but occasionally was on abit more) you can get 2 flips out of these also. This is done by judging the small jump(just tap the screen and let go immediately) slightly before they hole which will flip u over then back again giving u 2 switches.Ģ. On the bigger holes you can actually get 2 switches out of the one hole. Switching sides 50 times in one session can be made easier through these few tips some a real major help and some minor.ġ. Two Spikes patterns sequecy like: (_AA_AA_) and (_AA_A_A_AA_), require some accuracy on the touch, so that the dot on the next hurdle is not lost. I think I had about seven or eight really difficult obstacle situations to go through. If my memory serves me, I caught no more than three twins, and got rid of one of them at the first hurdle. I achieved this feat on the basis of the 2075 points. I think it worked, I did the deed, in fact, waiting for the last bus to leave. This means, for example, playing while on public transport, curvy driving and unsteady road terrain, as well as distracting events. ![]() I made an insane strategy to prepare myself for this feat: I played it on my phone in an adverse condition to be played. I think I made the exact 50 - or was it 51? - required jumps. ![]() The notification came to me as soon as I lost my dot to a 4-spikes obstacle on the edge that I managed to double jump between scenarios. I was finally able to get this achievement in a single session, with no breaks, and possibly within expectation. ![]()
